Copercana Fuel Distributor

Product Management Platform and Institutional Website
This project was developed to modernize and enhance the digital presence of Copercana Fuel Distributor, the largest fuel distributor in the São Paulo countryside. The platform serves as both an institutional showcase and a tool to streamline internal processes while providing detailed information about the company’s products and services.
Features
- Institutional Pages: Detailed presentation of the company, its history, mission, and values.
- Product and Service Management: An intuitive interface to display the fuels and services offered.
- Custom Administrative Panel: Simplifies content management, such as product updates, promotions, and blog posts.
- Mobile Optimization: A responsive design ensuring a seamless browsing experience across devices.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the main challenges was ensuring that the responsive design emphasized institutional content while delivering an intuitive and enjoyable browsing experience across devices and varying connectivity levels. We leveraged TailwindCSS and DaisyUI to create a modern, accessible, and lightweight interface.
Another important focus was optimizing the application’s performance when handling dynamic styles. Node.js was used exclusively to compile TailwindCSS styles into CSS, improving load times and reducing server response time.
Technologies Used
- Frontend: TailwindCSS and DaisyUI for modular and consistent design.
- Backend: Codeigniter (PHP) for flexibility in developing custom features.
- Database: MySQL for secure and efficient data storage.
- Style Compilation: Node.js for processing TailwindCSS styles.
Results
After launch, the platform achieved the following benefits:
- Improved Internal Efficiency: A 30% reduction in time spent updating site information, thanks to the custom administrative panel.
- Increased Online Traffic: A 40% growth in organic traffic compared to the previous website.
- Higher Engagement: Over 25% increase in visitor interactions with content, such as material downloads and completed forms.
Lessons Learned
This project highlighted the importance of prioritizing user experience at every stage of development. It also reinforced the value of scalable and modern technologies like TailwindCSS and DaisyUI to create visually appealing and functional interfaces while optimizing performance for diverse contexts.
